Khador Rager

Here is a little but ragey guy, the shieldjack of khador itself!!

Is a bit more reddish than my other khador, but I like this small-framed guys to be a bit different.

And a bit more detail for you to see:

A little mishap

Yes, mishaps sometimes happen and this is a quite painful one; the torso of the behemoth slipped from my hands and ended falling to the ground.

If you take a look at the front of it it is pretty ok:

But when you turn it around...  :(  :

I can re-airbrush it but I think I will paint this piece of armor gold and call it a day (this is the first time I airbrush something red and it turned pretty ok imho, so I prefer to fix a bit than to mess a lot  :S  )

Khador minis Work in progress

Hello, guys.

Here is the new batch of minis incoming.

Where is another colossal, the mighty behemoth, some mad dogs (yes, I like them even after the huge nerf), a rager, and converted Karchev:

And here are the metallic part of this bunch.

Some huge stuff there!!!

And here you can notice the rager almost finished:

And behind the some comics for good reads from time to time...  :D

Mercenaries: Hammerfall Siege Crawler part 2

More photos with different lightning, so you can see better the colours

And a couple of photos showing the dude on top.

The eye in the lens detail is directly out of a cartoon

Mercenaries: Hammerfall Siege Crawler part 1

Hello fellas, here I bring the little guys big walking tank:

Here it is in all his siege-crawling glory!

Is a very nice model, quite easy to build and funny to paint

I don´t know, maybe it needs some markings of some kind...

And here is the dude on top, at the beginning I thought about glueing him to the base as if it was rising up after digging in the ground (it fits so well, hehehehehe)

Khador Karchev the Terrible part 5: Conversion

I found the missing thing I was feeling off.

As you can see I solved my own problem in the conversion, now it has something that protects, and that hides a bit the conversion, which is also very nice.

The bit is a demolisher/devastator/spriggan top with the horn trimmed out in order for it to be flat.

That will make the head kind of hard to attach but this is a problem for my own version in the future (Grajo2 Rage of Khador?? with more focus but less Jack points, I suppose :D )

Time consuming conversion but I think it totally worth it!!!

What do you think?

Khador Karchev the Terrible part 4: Conversion

Now to dry fit to see how it is going!

This is how the head will look while glued to the body of the jack:

I think it fits but still I think something is missing there, because it needs something under the head to protect the guy as well as to hide the conversion :)

Khador Karchev the Terrible part 3: Conversion

Now let´s go for the head!

The head is done by taking the head of the grolar (not the kodiak this time, because the grolar neck is wider and have two "balls" where the shoulders should be, which is very nice), trimming off the head and glueing a human head (I cannot remember where this human head came from)

When the grolar head is cut out I had to refine the neck before applying the head, I did a little hole in the middle and started to twist a little blade into it in circles so it would make space for the head to sit well.

And here is a side view of the finished neck/head:

Khador Karchev the Terrible part 2: Conversion

For this I´ve used the right hand of the Kodiak (not the grolar), and another axe of the new berserker/mad dog/rager kit (quite tricky to set in such a big hand).

Then I trimmed the kodiak "shields" in order to give the hands a proper look, mostly because the original shield is too big for this conversion.

Some gaps in the arm... I hate that.

And that is how the hand will look when finally glued.

Khador Karchev the Terrible part 1: Conversion

Hello fellow warmahorders!!

Today I´m going to show you my Karchev conversion.

As the Karchev mini is quite tiny for my tastes and all-metal I did a brief conversion for the JackCaster himself.:

First of all is the grolar/kodiak kit torso with a topping in form of a berserker axe blade in the middle of the "roof".
It also has some spikes in the left shoulderpad, because... What is a khadorian jack without some spikes??

Another view to take a better look at the spikes.

And to end this post, here I have the grolar legs with the "teeth" in the feet removed, all but two as in Karchev´s mini in order to homage the original mini.

Khador Conquest part 3

Hello fellow gamers!!

Here is the conquest completed!!

Huge model but kind of hard to paint because it weighted very much, I hope the new plastic one is easier!!!

Everything taken into consideration... it is an amazing model and look quite good besides other models.

With Harkevich as a height comparison

Khador Conquest part 2

Here we have the almost-completed conquest!!

What do you think about it??
